DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Stock 6.7L Cummins intake hardware compromises both engine breathing and long-term reliability. The combination of restrictive butterfly valves and recirculated exhaust chokes fresh airflow and coats internal components in thick sludge. Worse still, internal cracking in the factory EGR cooler can dump engine coolant straight into the cylinders, causing catastrophic hydro-lock.
  • This all-in-one upgrade kit replaces failure-prone factory plumbing with precision CNC-machined high-flow hardware. By completely bypassing the stock EGR cooler and throttle valve, it eliminates internal leak risks, stops carbon buildup at the source, and delivers maximum clean air volume straight to your engine.

Key Features

  • Remove the entire EGR system — valve, cooler, and associated plumbing — with direct bolt-on CNC components
  • Halt abrasive carbon sludge from contaminating intake ports, valves, and engine oil
  • Eliminate the internal EGR cooler leak risk that silently drains coolant into your cylinders
  • Monitor EGTs immediately through the pre-tapped 1/8" NPT port on the exhaust block-off plate
  • Maintain smooth coolant circulation across the block through a reinforced silicone bypass hose

FAQ

Q: What is the pre-tapped 1/8" NPT port intended for?

A: It provides a dedicated threaded mount for an aftermarket EGT probe, letting you monitor exhaust gas temperatures directly — especially useful when towing heavy. No need to drill or tap the manifold yourself.

Q: Will I need to pull the cylinder head to install the block-off plates?

A: No. The entire kit is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement. Basic hand tools and standard mechanical knowledge are all that’s required. The head and exhaust manifold stay in place.

Q: What should I do with the unplugged EGR electrical connectors after installation?

A: Keep them clean and protected. Wrap the exposed connectors and secure them away from heat and moisture. Our Tuner Harness Plugs are purpose-built for exactly this task.

Q: If my Chassis Cab truck needs an EGR delete, can I use this pickup kit?

A: No. This kit is strictly for standard 2500/3500 pickup models. Commercial Chassis Cab trucks have different EGR routing and require our dedicated Cab & Chassis kit.
