DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Factory 6.7L Cummins air-intake tracts are heavily constricted by narrow OEM manifold elbows, integrated throttle valve bodies, and restrictive EGR plumbing. This restrictive architecture creates severe air turbulence and high pressure drops, while recirculated soot continuously coats internal intake runners in power-robbing carbon sludge.
  • Designed to drastically increase volumetric efficiency, this upgraded Intake System expands the primary air path to a smooth-bore 3.5-inch diameter while eliminating restrictive EGR components. By smoothing out air charge delivery and sealing out carbon contamination, it optimizes turbocharger spoolup, reduces pumping losses, and delivers immediate, sharp throttle response under load.

Key Features

  • Eliminate soot contamination by removing the factory EGR cooler and valve assembly with precision block-off plates
  • Achieve faster turbo spool and sharper throttle response with reduced intake-side airflow restriction
  • Monitor EGTs out of the box via integrated 1/8" NPT sensor ports — no drilling or tapping required
  • Built from TIG-welded 304 stainless steel with precise weld penetration for maximum strength without airflow obstruction

FAQ

Q: Will my factory MAP sensor bolt directly onto this intake horn?

A: Yes. The intake horn features an OEM-style MAP sensor mounting port with factory bolt locations, so your stock MAP sensor installs directly for accurate boost pressure readings.

Q: What happens to the factory throttle valve electrical connector after installation?

A: Once the throttle valve delete tube is installed and custom tuning is applied, the factory connector is no longer active. Protect it by snapping on a weatherproof harness plug to shield the pins from moisture, dirt, and corrosion.

Q: Can I keep my stock intercooler hose with the 3.5" elbow?

A: Yes. The 3.5" elbow outlet is engineered to clamp directly onto factory and most aftermarket intercooler boost hoses using standard T-bolt clamps.

Q: Should I pair this intake kit with a DPF delete race pipe?

A: Absolutely. This kit frees up the intake side, but the stock DPF remains a major exhaust restriction. Pairing it with a 4" or 5" DPF delete pipe opens both ends of the airflow system, lowering EGTs further and maximizing power and fuel economy. See our  DPF Delete Pipe collection.
