DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Built for heavy commercial service, 6.7L Cummins Cab & Chassis models are heavily choked by factory emissions controls. The restrictive OEM DPF and catalytic converter create high exhaust backpressure that stifles engine efficiency, while the EGR system continually pumps abrasive soot back into the air charge—coating intake valves and runners in thick carbon sludge.
  • Engineered specifically to match the unique frame rail and crossmember geometry of commercial cab-and-chassis platforms, this Cummins Performance Package combines a full EGR removal system with a high-flow 4" exhaust replacement pipe. It eliminates high-pressure exhaust bottlenecks, stops intake contamination at the source, and significantly drops operating temperatures—delivering maximum work-site reliability and performance under heavy payload demands.

Key Features

  • Replace the restrictive factory DPF and catalytic converter with a 4-inch mandrel-bent race pipe that clears Cab & Chassis frame rails, DEF tanks, and rear axle configurations without interference.
  • Remove the EGR cooler and valve assembly to permanently block soot recirculation and eliminate internal coolant leaks that can hydro-lock a hot engine.
  • Eliminate fuel-consuming active DPF regeneration cycles — a significant operating-cost drain for trucks that log heavy idle time or frequent short-haul duty cycles.
  • Route coolant safely around the deleted EGR cooler with an included bypass hose that maintains uninterrupted block circulation and prevents localized hot spots.

FAQ

Q: Will this kit fit a standard Ram 3500 with a pickup bed?

A: No. This kit is engineered exclusively for Cab & Chassis commercial models. Standard bed-equipped pickups use a completely different exhaust routing path, fuel tank placement, and frame layout. Installing a Cab & Chassis kit on a regular pickup will result in clearance and fitment issues.

Q: Why can’t I just install a standard pickup DPF delete pipe on my Cab & Chassis truck?

A: Cab & Chassis trucks run unique frame configurations, fuel tank locations, DEF tank positioning, and rear axle setups that don’t share geometry with bed-equipped pickups. A standard pickup pipe will either hit the frame, rub the DEF tank, or simply not reach the hanger points. This kit is routed specifically for the commercial platform.

Q: Does the 4-inch pipe connect to the factory tailpipe, or do I need additional exhaust sections?

A: The race pipe is designed as a direct replacement for the DPF/CAT section only. It mates to your factory exhaust hanger brackets on one end and the existing tailpipe assembly on the other — no additional exhaust components needed for a complete install.

Q: Is this kit suitable for daily commercial towing and fleet use?

A: Yes. The kit is built specifically for heavy-duty commercial applications. When paired with proper ECM tuning, it performs reliably under sustained towing loads, extended idle periods, and the stop-and-go cycles typical of fleet and vocational truck operations.
