DESCRIPTION
Product Overview
-
Extended idling and heavy towing under severe commercial workloads subject 6.7L Ram Cab & Chassis trucks to extreme exhaust restriction and intake fouling. Restrictive DPF/SCR filters trap excessive heat under the chassis while forcing frequent regen cycles, and recirculated exhaust soot clogs intake passages over time.
- This complete Cab & Chassis Cummins Package delivers a tailored airflow overhaul for commercial chassis configurations. Featuring a precision-fit 4-inch exhaust race pipe and a rugged EGR delete system, it restores free-flowing exhaust evacuation, stops carbon sludge buildup, and keeps your work truck running cooler and more efficiently on every job.
Key Features
-
Eliminate the restrictive factory DPF/SCR assembly with a 4" free-flowing race pipe that dramatically cuts exhaust backpressure
- Stop EGR soot contamination and coolant leak risks with CNC-machined billet aluminum block-off plates and steel sealing hardware
- Increase fuel economy from ~13-14 mpg to 18-19 mpg combined by removing plugged DPF restriction
- Delete the need for regular DPF service intervals, cleaning, and costly filter replacement
- Accelerate turbo spool and unlock more usable power with reduced exhaust restriction paired with ECU tuning
- Constructed from corrosion-resistant T-409 stainless steel pipe and billet aluminum plates for long-term commercial durability
FAQ
Q: Why won’t a standard Ram pickup DPF delete kit fit my Cab & Chassis truck?
A: Cab & Chassis models use a different frame layout, fuel tank positioning, and exhaust routing compared to standard pickups. The exhaust pipes, mounting points, and required clearances are unique, so a pickup-specific kit will not align correctly on a C&C chassis.
Q: Where do the EGR block-off plates install on the engine?
A: The exhaust-side block-off plate bolts to the rear exhaust manifold on the passenger side once the EGR cooler is removed, while the intake-side plate seals the intake manifold port on the driver side.
Q: Does this kit include everything needed for a complete installation?
A: Yes. The kit includes the 4" exhaust pipe, laser-cut steel plates, billet block plug, billet standpipe cap, all necessary gaskets and fittings — everything for a full install with basic hand tools in approximately 2 hours.
Q: Is custom ECM tuning required after installation?
A: Yes. Custom ECM delete tuning is mandatory after removing factory emissions components to prevent diagnostic trouble codes, limp mode, and to properly manage engine operation.
