DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Stop pulling over to flash your truck every time your driving needs change. Built for 2011–2016 Duramax 6.6L LML trucks running multi-map tunes, this 5-Position SOTF Switch lets you adjust your power output instantly from the driver seat while moving down the road.
  • Featuring a rugged, tactile aluminum rotary dial, this switch gives you immediate access to five distinct power levels—allowing you to shift from fuel-saving eco modes to heavy towing or maximum horsepower in seconds. It is the ultimate upgrade for total control over your truck’s performance, throttle response, and towing capability.
Key Features
  • Sheathes the harness in a heat-resistant, self-extinguishing braided loom that won’t melt or fray even in the hottest engine bay.
  • Gives you a CNC-machined billet aluminum knob with a tactile grip that feels far more premium than a plastic dial.
  • Toggles five custom-tuned settings (Stock/Eco, Light Tow, Heavy Tow, Street, or Race) in under a second, on the move.
  • Arrives with factory-style pre-terminated pins that slip straight into the ECM connector — no cutting, no soldering.

FAQ

Q: What exactly does this 5-position switch control?

A: It lets you pick between compatible SOTF power levels as you drive. It doesn’t generate horsepower by itself — it simply summons whichever level your custom tune already contains.

Q: Can I switch maps while moving or under throttle?

A: You can change positions on the fly, and the ECM responds instantly. For the big-horsepower jumps, though, it’s worth easing off the gas for a beat so the transmission doesn’t take a sudden mechanical shock.

Q: Does this work on a bone-stock truck?

A: No. A compatible SOTF custom tune has to be loaded first; the switch does nothing with the factory calibration.

Q: Does it need an external power source?

A: No. It runs as a passive resistor network and draws its low-voltage signal straight from the factory ECM connector, so there’s no splicing into the battery, fuse box, or ignition.
