FITMENT

  • 2007–2009 6.7L Dodge Ram Cummins 2500 / 3500 Turbo Diesel.

DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Restrictive factory EGR plumbing on the 6.7L Cummins creates ongoing engine contamination and severe thermal stress. Recirculating dirty exhaust bakes heavy carbon sludge directly onto internal intake components, contaminating motor oil and driving up EGTs during heavy pulls while putting the OEM cooler at risk of internal failure.
  • This complete EGR Removal Kit physically bypasses the stock emissions circuit to deliver clean, unrestricted air directly to your intake manifold. Precision CNC block-off plates stop carbon deposits from forming, reduce operating heat while towing, and unleash the true power potential and fuel efficiency of your 6.7L Cummins.

Key Features

  • Seal the exhaust manifold, intake face, and EGR cooler coolant ports with three CNC-cut block-off plates backed by high-temperature graphite gaskets.
  • Monitor exhaust gas temperatures directly by threading an aftermarket probe into the pre-tapped 1/8" NPT port on the exhaust manifold block-off plate.
  • Maintain proper coolant flow to the rear cylinders with a reinforced silicone bypass hose that loops the cooling circuit around the deleted EGR cooler without dead-ending any passages.
  • Secure the transmission dipstick tube and coolant bypass hose with the included mounting bracket — preventing chafing, rattling, and heat damage that budget kits leave unaddressed.

FAQ

Q: What is the pre-tapped 1/8" NPT port on the exhaust block-off plate for?

A: It’s an EGT probe port machined directly into the plate. You thread your aftermarket pyrometer probe straight in — no need to remove the exhaust manifold, drill, or tap anything. Leave the included brass plug installed if you’re not running a gauge.

Q: Does cutting the EGR cooler out of the coolant loop affect engine cooling?

A: No. The included silicone bypass hose creates an uninterrupted path for coolant to continue flowing through the block in the same circuit the EGR cooler previously occupied. The system maintains full circulation and actually benefits from removing a heat source that was dumping exhaust-level temperatures into the coolant jacket.

Q: Why does this kit include a transmission dipstick and coolant hose bracket when most competitors skip it?

A: Because skipping it is a shortcut that creates problems down the road. Once the bulky EGR cooler assembly is removed, the transmission dipstick tube loses its factory anchor point and the coolant bypass hose has nothing to support it. Without a bracket, the dipstick tube vibrates against the block until it cracks, and the hose sags into contact with hot engine surfaces.

Q: What’s the difference between this kit and the version with the throttle valve delete?

A: This kit focuses on the EGR valve and cooler removal with a simplified block-off approach. If you also want to eliminate the intake throttle butterfly — which further reduces an airflow bottleneck at the intake elbow — check out Seguler’s complete EGR and throttle valve delete kit for the same model years.
