DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Atomized oil vapors venting from your engine's crankcase continuously contaminate turbo compressor wheels, intercooler boots, and intake manifolds. Over time, this oil buildup degrades silicone hoses, reduces cooling efficiency inside the intercooler, and forms sticky carbon sludge inside your engine.
  • Keep your intake tract spotless with this Premium CCV Oil Catch Can Package. Designed to integrate smoothly into your factory closed-loop PCV/CCV lines, its high-efficiency internal separator strips oil droplets out of crankcase vapors—returning only clean gas to your turbo intake while trapping harmful oil sludge safely inside the reservoir.
Key Features
  • A hard-anodized black 6061 billet aluminum tank that shrugs off extreme engine bay heat and the acidic blow-by gases flowing through it.
  • Holds onto the factory closed-loop PCV/CCV setup for full emissions compliance — no open venting and no oil smell under the cab.
  • Uses internal high-micron mesh to pull heavy oil droplets out of the air stream with serious efficiency.
  • Drains in seconds through a bottom-mounted turn valve or magnetic drain plug during your normal oil change.

FAQ

Q: Does the CCV Catch Can work standalone, or does it need the Reroute kit?

A: It’s fully designed to run on its own as a legal, closed-loop filtration system. It catches the oily mist, holds the liquid in the aluminum reservoir, and feeds clean air back into the factory intake. Adding the Reroute kit turns it into an open-loop layout for owners who want zero vapor going back to the motor.

Q: How often should I empty the oil out of the Catch Can?

A: Every 5,000 to 7,500 miles is the sweet spot — it lines right up with your oil change schedule. Towing heavy, freezing winters, or a high-mileage engine with more blow-by means you’ll want to check it even more often.

Q: Does the stainless steel mesh filter inside ever need replacing?

A: No. The stainless steel element is built to last the life of the truck and doesn’t wear out. If it picks up carbon after years of use, just unscrew the top cap, take the element out, rinse it with carburetor cleaner, and drop it back in.

Q: What if I forget to drain the Catch Can and it fills all the way up?

A: Once the reservoir tops out, the system can start sucking that trapped liquid oil back into the intake tract — which defeats the whole point. To avoid it, spend 30 seconds emptying the canister each time you change the truck’s oil.
