Seguler 2013-2018 6.7L Ram Cab & Chassis 4" DPF Delete pipe w/EGR Delete Kit
Product Overview
Key Features
Q: What do the included metal brackets and long studs do?
A: When the bulky factory EGR cooler assembly is removed, the engine wire harness and transmission dipstick tube lose their original mounting points. The provided bracket and studs re-anchor both components in their correct positions, preventing vibration damage, rattling, and wire harness chafing against hot engine surfaces.
Q: Why can’t I use a standard Ram pickup DPF delete kit on my Cab & Chassis?
A: Commercial 3500/4500/5500 Cab & Chassis trucks have flatter frame rails, different crossmember spacing, and larger EGR manifold ports compared to pickup bed models. A standard pickup delete pipe won’t clear the frame and crossmembers, and pickup-sized EGR block-off plates won’t seal the larger Cab & Chassis exhaust manifold ports — you’ll get severe exhaust leaks.
Q: Do I need to completely remove the factory EGR cooler when installing this kit?
A: Yes. This is a complete EGR cooler delete package, not a bypass or block-off-only solution. The OEM EGR cooler assembly must be fully removed before installing the provided block-off plates, coolant re-route hose, and mounting brackets for correct fitment and sealing.
Q: Is custom ECM delete tuning required after installing this 4" delete kit?
A: Yes. Removing the DPF and EGR hardware will immediately trigger check engine lights and force the truck into reduced-power limp mode unless custom ECM delete software has been flashed before starting the engine. Professional tuning is mandatory for safe operation.
