FITMENT

  • 2011-2016 6.6L Chevy GMC Duramax LML 2500 HD 3500 HD Diesel.

DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Twin factory emissions loops continuously flood 6.6L Duramax LML engines with sticky oil mist and dirty exhaust soot. When crankcase blow-by vapors mix with recirculated EGR carbon inside the cold-side charge piping, they coat the intake manifold and intercooler walls in a power-robbing, airflow-restricting sludge.
  • Protect your engine's fresh-air intake tract with this complete LML CCV Reroute & EGR Delete Combo. By routing oily crankcase mist away from the intake tract and completely removing the soot-producing EGR setup, this package keeps sludge out of your intercooler, optimizes airflow velocity, and ensures your Duramax breathes strictly clean, oil-free air.

Key Features

  • Seals tight with heavy-duty anodized CNC aluminum components that shrug off engine-bay heat and corrosion.
  • Removes the factory EGR cooler to prevent carbon sludge on the valves and stop internal coolant loss.
  • Keeps intake air cooler by bypassing hot EGR gases and cutting thermal stress under load.
  • Blocks oily blow-by and abrasive soot from ever reaching the turbo, intercooler, and intake manifold.

FAQ

Q: Why is the CCV + EGR combo so effective on the LML?

A: On a stock LML, CCV oil mist behaves like glue and EGR soot like powder, hardening into sludge. Removing the EGR kills the soot and rerouting the CCV kills the oil — leaving the intake, turbo, and intercooler dry.

Q: Where does the crankcase vapor go after the reroute?

A: The kit carries crankcase pressure and oil mist through an oil-resistant hose that vents beneath the chassis, well away from the turbo inlet.

Q: Does deleting the EGR and CCV raise crankcase pressure or blow-by?

A: No. The reroute keeps crankcase ventilation healthy by letting blow-by vent more freely, cutting oil-vapor contamination while supporting a cleaner engine.

Q: Will this cause white or blue smoke from the exhaust?

A: No. Tailpipe oil smoke usually traces to oil pooling in the turbo housing. Keeping oil mist out of the turbo inlet actually helps cut oil-related smoke under boost.
