Seguler 2004-2010 6.6L GMC Chevrolet Duramax Diesel Turbo Piping Kit CCV PCV Reroute Kit
Product Overview
Q: What do the two block-off plugs in this kit each do?
A: The PCV Plug blocks the oily return port on the turbo inlet mouthpiece once the factory hoses are off. The Resonator Plug removes the useless plastic “Duramax” silencer box up top — the one known for cracking, leaking boost, and cluttering the engine bay.
Q: Why does the CCV kit span 2004.5–2010 (LLY/LBZ/LMM) while the EGR kits are year-specific?
A: GM left the core engine block and valve covers alone but redesigned the external EGR coolers and sensors generation by generation to hit tightening emissions rules. So the CCV kit is universal, while your EGR delete has to match your exact model year.
Q: Will I hear a difference once the stock resonator box is gone?
A: A bit, yes. Swapping the baffled plastic resonator for the flat billet plug brings out a slightly louder, cleaner turbo whistle under the hood — a subtle change most diesel fans really enjoy.
Q: Will rerouting the PCV leave oil spots on my driveway?
A: Basically none. Blow-by is mostly micro-fine oil vapor, not liquid oil, so as long as your custom hose runs on a continuous downward slope (so oil can’t pool and dump), the vapor disperses harmlessly and your driveway stays clean.
