DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Stock CCV configurations on the Ford 6.7L Powerstroke are engineered to vent heated, viscous oil vapor straight into your clean air intake assembly and turbocharger compressor wheel. Over miles of driving, this oily film coats the inner walls of your aluminum intercooler piping, severely degrading heat transfer. Once this vapor combines with EGR soot particulate, it hardens into a dense, restrictive paste that fouls intake valves and robs motor output.
  • Our Premium CCV Reroute Package provides a complete solution by safely routing these oily crankcase vapors out beneath the truck chassis. This permanent upgrade protects your turbocharger from oil contamination while preserving maximum cooling air density across your intercooler system.
Key Features
  • Precision CNC billet aluminum vent block and intake plug machined from solid 6061-T6 with a black anodized finish for lasting corrosion resistance and an OEM-quality fit
  • Permanently eliminates intake oil contamination by stopping crankcase oil vapor from ever reaching the turbo compressor inlet and intake manifold, keeping engine internals fully sludge-free
  • Restores full intercooler thermal efficiency by preventing the insulating oil film coating that degrades heat dissipation and charge air density over time
  • Includes a heavy-duty chemical-resistant ventilation hose built to safely route oil vapors away beneath the chassis without kinking, collapsing, or degrading under sustained engine bay heat

FAQ

Q: Will installing this CCV reroute cause oil to drip on my driveway?

A: Under normal healthy engine operation, the system vents oil vapor and pressure—not raw liquid oil. You may see faint vapor or an occasional droplet after sustained heavy towing, but it will not create pooling on the driveway. The enormous benefit of a permanently clean intake tract far outweighs this minor venting characteristic.

Q: Does the CCV bypass require any custom tuning or ECU reprogramming?

A: No. Unlike EGR or exhaust modifications, the 6.7L CCV is a purely mechanical ventilation loop with no electronic sensors monitoring it. The kit will never trigger a Check Engine Light and requires absolutely no software changes or ECM flashing to function correctly.

Q: Why is a CCV reroute considered the ideal companion to an EGR delete?

A: An EGR delete stops carbon soot, but the factory CCV continues feeding oil mist into the same intake pathway. When soot and oil combine, they form a thick sludge that chokes the engine. Pairing both upgrades blocks every intake contaminant, keeping the entire intake tract completely dry and clean from the turbo inlet to the cylinder head.

Q: Where should the ventilation dump hose be routed?

A: Route the hose down the passenger-side frame rail, securing it well clear of hot exhaust components and rotating driveshafts with the provided zip ties. Position the open end pointing downward, terminating near the rear of the transmission or cab area so vapors vent cleanly beneath the vehicle.
