What's Included
-
3" Turbo-Back Delete Pipe — 409 stainless steel, mandrel-bent, direct bolt-on from turbo outlet to factory muffler connection point
-
EGR Delete Kit Components — Block-off plates and hardware to seal the EGR system at both the intake and exhaust manifold sides
-
All Required Gaskets & Hardware — OEM-spec flange gaskets, Grade 8 bolts, nuts, and washers
-
Installation Guide — Step-by-step instructions with torque specs and critical fitment notes for LM2-specific routing
Key Features & Benefits
-
409 Stainless Steel Construction — Superior corrosion resistance compared to aluminized steel. 409 SS handles the extreme heat cycles of diesel exhaust without warping, cracking, or rusting through like cheaper materials.
-
Mandrel-Bent Tubing — Every bend maintains full 3" internal diameter — no crimps, no neck-downs. Maximum exhaust gas velocity from turbo outlet to tailpipe.
-
Retains Factory Muffler & Dual Exhaust — The kit connects to your factory muffler, preserving the OEM dual exhaust tips and stock appearance. No one will know it's modified until you start it.
-
Lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) — Removing the DPF restriction dramatically reduces backpressure, dropping EGTs by 150-250°F under load. This is critical for towing longevity.
-
Reduced Carbon Buildup — EGR delete eliminates recirculated soot from coating your intake manifold, intake valves, and swirl flaps — a notorious problem on modern diesels.
-
Improved Throttle Response & Fuel Economy — Less restriction = less pumping loss. Expect crisper throttle tip-in and 1-3 MPG improvement under highway cruising conditions.
-
Direct Bolt-On — No Welding Required — All flanges, hangers, and mounting points match the factory locations precisely. Hand tools and a floor jack are all you need.

⚠️ CRITICAL FITMENT NOTE: This kit is designed EXCLUSIVELY for the 2020-2022 3.0L LM2 Duramax engine (E46 ECM). It WILL NOT fit 2023+ 3.0L LZ0 Duramax engines. GM completely redesigned the exhaust routing, flange geometry, and mounting points for the LZ0 — none of the components are cross-compatible. Verify your engine code (8th digit of VIN) before ordering: LM2 = Y vs LZ0 = Z.
Why 409 Stainless Steel Matters
Most budget delete pipes use 409-equivalent or aluminized steel that rusts within the first winter. Genuine 409 stainless steel contains 10.5-11.75% chromium, forming a protective oxide layer that resists both high-temperature oxidation and road salt corrosion. It's the same grade used in OEM diesel exhaust systems from the factory. This pipe is built to last the life of your truck — not one season.
Installation Overview
-
Remove Factory DPF Assembly — Disconnect sensors, unbolt V-band clamps at turbo outlet, remove DPF from hangers (approx. 45-60 min)
-
Remove EGR System Components — Unbolt EGR valve, cooler, and crossover pipe; install block-off plates at intake and exhaust manifold (approx. 30-45 min)
-
Install SEGULER Turbo-Back Pipe — Bolt up to turbo outlet, align with factory hanger locations, connect to factory muffler flange (approx. 30 min)
-
ECM Tuning Required — After mechanical installation, the ECM must be tuned to disable DPF regeneration cycles, EGR actuation, and related DTCs. This is done via OBD-II with compatible tuning software.
Total Install Time (Experienced DIY): 2.5-4 hours with basic hand tools, a floor jack, and jack stands.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will this kit fit my 2023 Silverado 3.0L Duramax?
No. The 2023+ models use the LZ0 engine, which has a completely redesigned exhaust system with different flange geometry, routing, and mounting points. Nothing from the LM2 kit is cross-compatible. We are developing an LZ0-specific kit — contact us for availability.
Q: Do I need a tune after installing this kit?
Yes. The ECM must be tuned to disable DPF regeneration cycles, EGR system actuation, and related diagnostic trouble codes. Without tuning, the truck will enter limp mode and display check engine lights. Tuning is performed via OBD-II using compatible software — the mechanical installation alone is not sufficient.
Q: Can I install this myself, or do I need a shop?
A mechanically-inclined DIYer with basic hand tools, a floor jack, and jack stands can complete the installation in 2.5-4 hours. The most time-consuming step is removing the factory DPF assembly. All components are direct bolt-on — no welding or fabrication required. Professional installation is recommended if you're not comfortable working under a vehicle.
Q: Will this cause my truck to fail emissions testing?
This kit removes the DPF and EGR systems, which are emissions control components. A vehicle equipped with this kit will not pass a visual or OBD-II-based emissions inspection in states or regions that require emissions testing. Check your local regulations before purchasing.
Q: What's the difference between 409 and 304 stainless steel?
409 stainless is the grade used by OEMs for exhaust systems because it handles extreme heat cycling without warping and forms a protective oxide layer that resists corrosion. 304 stainless (often used for "show" exhausts) has a shinier appearance but is more prone to cracking under diesel exhaust heat cycles. 409 is the correct choice for a diesel delete pipe.
Q: Does the EGR delete affect engine reliability?
Quite the opposite — removing the EGR system eliminates recirculated exhaust soot from entering the intake tract, which is one of the primary causes of intake manifold coking, swirl flap failure, and intake valve deposits on modern diesels. The engine runs cleaner without EGR.
Q: Will I see a check engine light after installation?
Without ECM tuning, yes — you'll see multiple DTCs related to DPF pressure sensors, EGR position sensors, and exhaust temperature sensors. With proper ECM tuning that disables these systems and their associated monitors, the check engine light will not illuminate.
Q: Is this kit compatible with aftermarket exhaust systems?
This kit connects the turbo outlet to the factory muffler. If you have a complete aftermarket cat-back or turbo-back exhaust system installed, the connection point may differ. Contact us with your specific exhaust setup for a compatibility check.
