FITMENT

  • Truck intake manifold EGR and EVAP block off complete kit. For use with all LS truck.

DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • The factory EGR and EVAP systems on 5.3L and 6.0L GM LS-series engines are built to loop hot exhaust gases and contaminants back into the intake. Left alone, that cycle feeds carbon buildup, throttles airflow, and chips away at efficiency.
  • For intake swaps, engine conversions, and off-road builds, the Seguler LS EGR & EVAP block-off plate kit is the tidy fix. Precision billet aluminum plates close off the unused EGR and EVAP ports, keeping the bay simple and leaks out of the picture.

Key Features

  • Takes engine-bay heat, vibration, and daily-driving abuse in stride, cut from CNC billet aluminum that resists the punishment.
  • Covers the exhaust EGR port to seal the now-open manifold opening, keeping exhaust leaks, soot, and unwanted noise at bay once the EGR is gone.
  • Seats flush against the factory exhaust manifold flange via a precision-machined flat face, giving a dependable, gap-free sealing surface.
  • Frees up the compartment by letting you bin the bulky OEM EGR crossover tube, leaving a tidier, simpler LS engine bay behind.

FAQ

Q: Does this item include the mounting bracket or bolts?

A: This plate caps only the exhaust manifold EGR port. To fully seal your system, you’ll also need the intake manifold and EVAP solenoid plates. Pair them together for a complete delete.

Q: Where does this exhaust EGR block-off plate install on my LS engine?

A: It installs on the factory exhaust manifold EGR port where the OEM metal EGR crossover tube connects. Remove the factory tube, position the plate over the port, and secure it with the proper hardware.

Q: What happens after removing the factory EGR crossover pipe?

A: Removing the crossover pipe eliminates the unused exhaust gas passage. This plate seals the now-open exhaust manifold port so the engine bay stays clean and properly sealed.

Q: Which plates do I need to complete the full EGR & EVAP delete?

A: The full delete kit bundles everything you need to close off the intake, exhaust, and EVAP ports. Pick up the EGR & EVAP block-off kit to handle them all together.
