Q: Is this single plate all I need to remove the EVAP system, or do I need the complete kit?
A: This plate only seals the EVAP purge solenoid port on the intake manifold. To fully seal your system, you’ll also need plates for the exhaust manifold and the intake EGR port. Pair them together for a complete delete.
Q: Where does this EVAP block-off plate install on my LS engine?
A: It mounts directly on the factory EVAP purge solenoid location on compatible LS intake manifolds. Remove the factory solenoid, clean the mounting surface, and bolt the block-off plate in place using the provided hardware.
Q: Will removing the EVAP purge solenoid trigger a Check Engine Light?
A: It may on vehicles still running the factory PCM/ECM. Removing or disabling the EVAP system can throw related fault codes unless the EVAP functions are turned off through tuning software.
