FITMENT

  • 2013–2018 6.7L Dodge Ram Cummins 2500 & 3500 Pickup Turbo Diesel.
  • This kit is designed for standard leaf-spring pickup truck configurations.
  • Does NOT fit trucks equipped with the factory-optional Rear Air Suspension or commercial Cab & Chassis (4500/5500) models.

DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Excessive exhaust backpressure and ongoing carbon soot contamination severely limit the power and breathing efficiency of 6.7L Cummins trucks. Restrictive stock exhaust components trap hot exhaust gases under the vehicle, while the factory EGR loop and throttle valve choke fresh incoming air with dirty soot and flow restrictions.
  • This complete 6.7L Cummins Airflow Upgrade Package eliminates every primary OEM restriction in a single comprehensive system. Featuring a free-flowing 5-inch turbo-back exhaust combined with precision EGR and throttle valve removal hardware, it prevents intake carbon buildup, maximizes exhaust evacuation, and delivers the deep, resonant exhaust rumble your diesel engine was built for.

Key Features

  • complete 5" turbo-back exhaust system from the turbo outlet flange to the tailpipe, delivering maximum exhaust CFM and the ultimate deep diesel tone
  • Delete the EGR cooler and valve assembly to stop hot exhaust soot from entering the intake and eliminate internal coolant leak failure points
  • Replace the restrictive OEM throttle butterfly valve with a straight-through delete tube for unrestricted, turbulence-free intake airflow
  • Reroute crankcase ventilation externally with the CCV system, keeping the turbo compressor wheel, intercooler, and intake manifold completely oil-free
  • Drop towing EGTs dramatically as the 5" diameter rapidly evacuates hot exhaust gases and reduces turbo boost lag

FAQ

Q: How does the 5" turbo-back pipe route under the truck?

A: It connects directly to the turbocharger outlet flange and replaces the factory downpipe, DPF/SCR canisters, and tailpipe with a free-flowing 5" system, using your truck’s existing rubber hanger points for a clean, rattle-free fit.

Q: What are the included metal brackets and long hex studs used for?

A: When you remove the bulky OEM EGR cooler assembly, the metal brackets and extended hex studs provide proper support and secure mounting for the remaining components, ensuring everything stays rigid and rattle-free.

Q: Will this 5" system be too loud for daily driving and towing?

A: The included straight-through 5" performance muffler is designed specifically to control cabin drone and raspy tones during highway cruising and heavy towing, while still delivering a deep, aggressive Cummins exhaust note. Outside the truck it’s unmistakably a deleted diesel; inside it’s surprisingly livable.

Q: What’s the difference between this kit and the version without CCV?

A: This kit (SG-ER-0257) includes the complete CCV reroute system — hose, billet plug, and breather — that vents crankcase vapor externally. The version without CCV (SG-ER-0256) includes the same 5" turbo-back, EGR delete, and throttle delete but skips the CCV components.
