DESCRIPTION
Product Overview
- The factory 6.7L Dodge Ram Cummins engine is a legendary power plant, but its restrictive emissions system severely limits its potential. Over time, recirculated exhaust soot clogs intake manifolds, EGR cooler leaks cause sudden coolant loss, and failing DPF/SCR/DEF sensors trigger endless error codes and power limits.
- This EGR & DPF Delete Combo Kit allows you to build a custom performance solution tailored to your specific truck year and performance goals. By replacing carbon-choking EGR components and restrictive exhaust canisters with high-flow CNC-machined plates and heavy-duty steel piping, this kit lets your Cummins breathe fresh air, lowers EGTs, and restores long-term engine reliability.
Key Features
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Exhaust pipes are precision mandrel-bent from premium T-409 stainless steel to prevent pitting, rusting, or cracking under harsh winter and towing conditions.
- Pre-Tapped 1/8" NPT EGT Port: EGR exhaust block-off plates feature an integrated port for direct EGT sensor probe installation—no drilling or tapping required.
- Instant Power & Turbo Spool: Maximizes exhaust flow velocity, reduces backpressure, allows faster turbo spool-up, and improves fuel economy during heavy towing.
- Complete System Elimination: Removes restrictive EGR coolers, throttle valve bottlenecks, DPF canisters, and DEF/SCR assemblies in one seamless upgrade.
FAQ
Q: Does this kit include a tuner/programmer, and is a tune required?
A: No, this is a hardware-only kit and does NOT include a tuner. A compatible delete tune (such as EZ-Lynk, MInimaxx V2) is strictly required. Running these delete components on factory software will cause Check Engine Lights and trigger Limp Mode.
Q: Which DPF pipe option should I choose: 4" Race Pipe, Downpipe-Back, or 5" Turbo-Back?
A: 4" Race Pipe: Best for budget and daily driving; it replaces only the restrictive DPF/CAT/SCR canisters while keeping your stock downpipe and tailpipe intact (quietest setup). 4" Downpipe-Back: Replaces the exhaust from the downpipe back, giving a crisp rumble and better exhaust flow. 5" Turbo-Back: Full straight-pipe setup from the turbo to the rear bumper for maximum EGT drop and an aggressive, thunderous diesel sound.
Q: Will this setup permanently fix DEF heater, quality sensor, and NOx sensor fault codes?
A: Yes. On 2013+ Cummins trucks, removing the SCR assembly and tuning out the emissions system completely bypasses the prone-to-failure DEF tank heater, urea quality sensor, and dual NOx sensors.
Q: What should I do with the unplugged factory sensors and electrical connectors?
A: Because the stock emissions sensors (EGR, pressure lines, EGT/NOx) will no longer be connected, we recommend sealing the open wiring plugs with weather-resistant tape or tuner blanking plugs, then securing them away from moving parts and hot exhaust pipes using zip ties.
