Q: Does the extra length make one-person roll-up difficult?
A: More material to handle, sure, but the technique doesn’t change. Roll it toward the cab a little at a time rather than trying to bundle all 8 feet from the tailgate. After a few tries you’ll have the one-person move down.
Q: Does the 8ft version sag worse than the shorter covers?
A: Not when installed correctly. This cover adds cross-bows and tension points specifically for the 8ft span. Spend a little time on tension during install and an 8ft cover sits just as flat as a 5.5ft one.
Q: Can I open only the tailgate end without rolling it all up?
